Calgary-based Telehealth Online Therapist
At Zen Psychology I am sensitive to the lasting impacts of COVID-19 and the reality of people’s busy schedules. Telehealth services are convenient, straightforward and similar to face-to-face therapy. If you are struggling right now, I am here to help you. No matter where you are, you can connect with me from the comfort of your own home or office. Telehealth services are available for all clients located in Calgary and throughout Alberta.
Benefits of Telehealth
CONVENIENT. You might be stuck at home, but you don’t need to be stuck in your emotional pain. Whether you’re a busy professional, student or parent, have a lot of commitments to juggle, live remotely, or have mobility issues, telehealth makes therapy accessible.
EFFICIENT. Time is a precious resource. Avoid wait times, commuting and parking, and get easy access to treatment.
FLEXIBLE. Telehealth provides scheduling flexibility, allowing you to balance a busy schedule and commitments.
EFFECTIVE. Studies have shown that telehealth can be equally as effective as face-to-face therapy. It can also be a nice first step into therapy.
PRIVATE. I use a specialized software platform that is fully encrypted offering a high level of security and privacy.

Video Sessions
I use a high quality virtual care solution that offers secure, encrypted video visits and messaging. We can see and hear each other in real-time during the session and interact with each other from the comfort of your own home or office. This allows for the most authentic interaction, and is the option most similar to in-person psychotherapy. Video sessions allow me to consider your facial expressions and body language, in the same way I would during in-person sessions. My video platform works on laptops, computers, tablets, and cellphones.
Phone Sessions
If video is not an option, I can also conduct therapy sessions over the phone. Studies show that telephone therapy can be as effective as in-person sessions, and you can do them from the convenience of your own home or office. This means you have access to support in challenging times when coming to the office may not be an option.
